Threnody

Hunh. I kinda don't like that sort of complexity in my game (the magic stuff), 'cuz it feels too limiting, and too much system stuff. You know? I mean, I'm not exactly sure how it would play out - would I have to specialize? Are these OPTIONS, like prestige classes, or like PATHS, like illusionist instead of wizard?

And - you've broken the skill points into two categories now. Does that add anything to the game? Does it inflict something on the characters? Does it make things more fun?

I dunno - that's just my gut reaction from a first read; more questions than answers. What's the justification for two kinds of skill points, and what does it add to just having one big pool? One pool is simpler and more streamlined, is my instinct.
