Holy crap.

Done. I am finally done with the spells.

I'm happy with Ritual now, too.

Had I known those damn spells would have been such an effort, I might have thought twice about this whole thing. However, now that they are done, I am on a mission.

I am now doing a GM's treatment of the skills. -The proficiency skills at least. Ability skills are just mechanics and self-explanatory. However, the proficiency skills could use some more in-depth explanation, and likely some examples of check modifiers.

The it's magic items and monsters... anything else? -Probably an example of game play.

BTW, 4.6 is up on the gmail account. -It has spell lists now, too.

Top Secret

Well, as it stands, only a fraction of spells may be cast by multiple casters. Of those, I think only 2 or 3 require multiple casters. Even so, I am having second thoughts too. First of all, any combat spell requiring multiple casters gets initiative stuff all jacked up. Secondly, it's going to be pretty much an NPC thing anyway. -Unless you have some lame ritualist PC team, that is. You know, I just had this image of these witches dancing around a cauldron...

It's not that additive. -Consider it scrapped.

Hedge magic is looking fun, indeed. I think I'd make a theurgist too.-There's a few new spells in there.

Despite the multiple caster thing, Ritual magic is coming together. One of my favorite spells is the 1st circle, Transfuse. The caster can transfer up to 4 of his own health points into another creature. How cool of a cure light is that? -That's the essence of ritual magic.

As for the PDF: Sorry. Three reasons. First, it's a pain to keep posting it to a file-sharing site.
Second, file-sharing sites have size limits around 2MB, and it's almost there.
Third, someone might steal my awesome system before it's done.

Gregory Vrill

I'm probably going to play ye olde Gregory Vrill, 2nd level Hedge Wizzard.

Think I should play a spellcaster type to test the new spellz. And the whole 'need extra casters' for Ritual Magic thing I don't like... that's not what I was saying at all actually. Do you think that Venger and Count Dracula actually had spellcasting buddies? No way Jose.

Dude, can't you just post the rule system to the blog like the DiD Chapters 1 and 2? Signing in and out is a pain.

Wall of Writer's Block

I am so close to finishing Ritual Magic.

However, I am a few spells short, and I can't come up with anything new. I almost made Wall of Bones. Ugh.

I need some fresh ideas. Not necessarily complete spells, just new ideas. What else should a ritualist be able to do?

Hit me.

Hit me again. No, stop. No, Ok, hit me again.
